ISO 41001 - Facility management systems
ISO 41001 specifies the requirements for a facility management system (FM) when an organization:
a) it needs to demonstrate the effective and efficient delivery of FM that supports the objectives of the demand organization;
b) aims to consistently address the needs of interested parties and applicable requirements;
c) intends to be sustainable in a globally competitive environment.
The requirements specified in ISO 41001 are not sector specific and are applicable to all organizations, or parts of them, whether in the public or private sector, and regardless of the type, size and nature of the organization or geographic location.
As in other management system standards, the standard follows the High Level requirements structure based on Annex SL and has an emphasis on Risk Mindset .
